Hey, I’m Joe Gerwing — a real estate and interior photographer based in Vernon, BC. I’ve been interested in photography since I was a kid, starting out by taking photos of landscapes and wildlife long before I ever photographed a home. That early passion taught me patience, attention to detail, and how to work with light — all things that shape how I approach photographing spaces today.

Before becoming a full-time photographer, I spent over 20 years in the construction industry as a tile setter. Working closely with homeowners, builders, and designers gave me a real appreciation for craftsmanship and design. Now, instead of installing tile, I get to photograph the finished product — and trust me, that’s way easier on the back. I focus on creating clean, bright, natural images that make spaces feel warm, welcoming, and true to the vision behind them. I also offer iGuide 3D tours, floor plans, and video for those who want the full marketing package. My experience taught me how to look at a space not just for what it is, but for how it feels.
